Oral sedation requires taking a pill to achieve relaxation during treatment. You will take the medicine approximately an hour before your treatment. The oral sedation will be combined with laughing gas so that you will feel more relaxed. Patients who opt for oral sedation are very lightly sedated and more awake than with IV Sedation. We typically reserve this for limited use.
